Prototype!

Made today :) Cute carrot plant stakes

Little change of plans :)

So since looking into our lumber costs it doesnt make sence to buy the lumber we've come up with a new plan. We're planning to pay to rototill the garden and build out garden beds as we find free lumber. Most things will be planted in the ground but thats okay :) a little more work weeding the garden but nothing worth having is easy.
Sorry its been so long since on update. We've been brainstorming the last few days before finalizing our plan.
Oh also! We're thinking of selling little garden stakes, you know the ones that mark the rows and such, but make them look like carrots and peas and etc. I think that'd be super cute :) We're also thinking of trying to do a donation to our local homeless shelter. I think it'd be really neat if we could make them a little veggi garden and then donate the plant starts. We could make the beds from giant semi tires. I'd be really cool if the junkyard could donate those. We plan to sell veggi starts at the booth, I wonder if people would be interested in flower starts also..

Woah

Well stopping by the local lumber store my estimate on how much we'll need for lumber was far off. I'll be looking around locally for free wood but if we cant find any the rest of the lumber will cost around 200$. Hopefully somebody will be giving away from free lumber. I might raise the goal on our new fundraiser so if anybody wants they can donate to help with the lumber costs.

New Goal :)

Since our vendor fee will probubly be due soon I figured I would start a fundraiser for that. I found a much better website that doesnt charge me anything. I get the usual paypal fee but the website itself doesnt charge me. Here's the new link :)

Goal Reached!

Wow! That was quick :) thank you so much for helping us reach our goal :) Now we'll be able to buy the lumber to build our garden beds :)

Rain rain go away...

So it rained today...
So instead of showing you pictures of my newly potted raspberrys I'll show you pictures of my last sprouted zuccini and beefsteak tomato plus my cherry tomato sprouts :)

GoFundMe

So I made a goalset on GoFundMe.com. Unfortunately they take 5% of every donation and another 2.9%+0.30$ fee. with a withdrawl. I'll be looking for another site that takes less but hopefully this will work :) The link is down below.
GoFundMe
So are you can see by the progress of our sprouts we need to be planting soon. Unfotunatly were 20$ short of our low goal for lumber. We only have 32$ when our low goal was 50$ we'd been hoping for 75$ but clearly that isnt an option right now.
If I were to set up a paypal account for people to donate too would anybody be interested? We dont need alot. I mean we have 32$ in change so if people were to donate just a few dollars it would'nt take long for us to reach our goal :)

Sprouts!

Here are photos of our sprouts :)
